Question about Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System Flight Simulator
After 5 or 6 successed attempts to fly, I have a problem with it.The quadrant is on and the time runs but the controls receive no commands. I tried to reinstall the drivers for windows 7 64 bit but nothing.Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The most likely problem here is that you have multiple assignments for the view change command set to multiple controllers hooked up to the system. They are conflicting with each other causing random view changes.
Firstly, go into Windows Control Panel and to Game Controllers. Remove any controllers listed in that box that are not currently connected or being used in your flight simulator.
Next, go into FSX, into the control assignments section...
Go through each controller in the drop down box (in the button/keys tab) and ensure only one controller has the assignment for view changes assigned.

SOURCE: Saitek yoke's accuracy prroblem.
Try uninstall and reinstall software,
if that doesn't solve then try on different pc
still not working repair/replace unit.
Try Microsoft unit with force feedback or you can buy without FFB for less than £10

SOURCE: saitek pro flight yoke problem
This is a know fault on Saitek yokes that is now cured. take it back and explain that it is suffering from "Ghost button pushing" and they should change it for a unit that has been updated. This problem is well documented on the web.

To get the quadrants to operate four throttles, you need to assign AXIS not buttons, then you will be able to set them up.

Ensure you have installed the drivers for it. If you don't have them, go to Saitek web site, download and install the correct one's for your operating system. Also ensure that the yoke is plugged into the USB port on the rear of the PC as these USB sockets give the most power. Additionally, you have to set the yoke up in FSX\Settings so it knows what to do with it with regard to calibrating it and assigning what buttons do what.
