I too had this problen today. Printed off a manual from the Hotpoint website. Very helpful troubleshoot section. Anyway, flashing eco and fast lights and beeping sound indicates 'water feed pipe blocked' You need to check the water inlet connections on your tap. However, when we pulled it out we noticed the blue water inlet pipe was slightly kinked. Straightened this out and hey presto! It works fine again. How this happens when its worked ok for 18 months will never know but still. Try it! hope this was helpful...shewoo

Processor board sound bad. May be a loose plug ( or corroded connection on the plug ) . Unplug the dish washer from the wall plug before servicing. The open the front panel to expose the panel control board. Unplug the panel plugs and inspect them to assure no corrotion is apparent. If you see corrotion, use a pencil erracer to clean all contact points on the board and clean the plug the best possible. Plug the dishwasher plug back in the wall and check the unit for proper operation. If the operation is not correct, replace the circuit board. I hope this helps

Look at your manual, usually available on net for reading or downloading. Blink lights are often used to code out a problem with various combinations and repetition rates to indicate trouble code number for look-up in manual.

SOURCE: keeps flashing pf while not
Flashing PF = power failure. The power source and connections need to be inspected for bening loose or hot. This would be at the wall connection and in the bottom of the dishwasher. If the supply power source is good all the way to the dishwaher and to the dishwasher control.. suspect corrosion in the control area as the source of the problem. When corrosion gets on an electronic board it starts acting like a conductor for the low voltages produced by the PDB transformer which starts causing all kinds of weird symptoms. If the PCB can be cleaned carefully you can maybe get 6 months to a year out of a PCB that has / had corrosion problems. My 40 years experience is that only one in 5 can be salvaged back into service. Additionally those that are placed bacm in service eventually have other problems.
If you have a loose plug, wires, outlet or power cord... your in luck.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
