I cant get my webcam to work with the Flash Flash... (by 9 users)

Lets start from scratch. First uninstall all software from the control panel. Then reboot your computer. Insert your software cd. Make sure your software and camera are compatibe with your operating system etc. 98/98se 2k, xp. Reinstall your drivers and software and plug in your camera then reboot. When your computer starts it will recognize your camera. When add new hardware wizard appears press cancel. Your camera software should start up.

This webcam comes with ArcSoft Video Impressions. Once the webcam is installed I would open up Video Impressions, go to New, Capture and click on the little eyeball looking thing for live view.

A black screen most commonly is that you are installing a nonVista certified webcam on a Vista machine. If this is the case, this webcam has workaround instructions located at www.jascoproducts.com, support, browse and update Vista and then scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see a PDF that you need to download and follow those instructions. It's not a guaranteed fix as this webcam is not Vista certified, but it may work.

If you are getting a VFW driver, you need to go to Microsoft.com and download the latest DirectX. This will give you the video driver you need.
