Question about LG KP500 Cell Phone
On my LG KP500, the touch screen seems to not work (or, at least works very-very slow; only '"slide to right" command...) but the keys (real buttons) are OK. I want to try a hard reset but in this conditions, I could not give him a hard reset by entering a code (as 1809#*500#) because, as I said, my touch screen don't react (or react with problems). So, the question is: is there a key combination to perform a hard reset for an LG KP500?

For unresponsive touch screen, the common cause of the problem is a damaged digitizer.
Since the LG KP500 does not have a keypad that you could use, you need to replace entire LCD assembly unless you can get a split LCD/digitizer assembly.
If you're not sure how to replace it, you can either send the phone to the manufacturer or take it to a local cell phone repair shop.
Thank you and good luck!

Mine does the samething. Call customer support and let them know your phone is not working and you need a replacement. Mine is getting replaced. Mine started as just the "ok" button now it's moved to the 4-5-6 row. very frustrating.

the solution to this problem is this - pull down(put pressure) the
silver line between the screen and key pad, you will notice that the
screen will start responding. So what i did was that i removed my screen
protector(foil), fold it into two then push it down on the right side
then cut it with a sharp razor blade.
the whole idea is just to put pressure between the silver line and the screen region.
