Thanks for the replies, none have worked so far though :(

The keys I mentioned (T, H, J, N, 1) don't work at all, so when I press them, nothing happens. Before, this would happen and then return back to normal after a few days but now it's been over 2 months and they're still not working

SOURCE: hye mr expert...Here i have

Hi,

The problem with your Netbook seems to be that you have turned "NUMBER LOCK" or "NUM LOCK" on. This causes some of the letter keys, e.g U,I,O,J,K,L,M to be printed as numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6.

To turn this off, hold down the "FN" key (near the bottom left of the keypad) and then press "F11" and then release both keys.

Please try this and post back if you need further assistance.

SOURCE: Acer Aspire 5102 I've reinstalled win

You will need to install the touchpad driver. The native windows driver will operate the basic functions, but for scrolling etc, you need the driver from Acer (Synaptics)

Samsung N220 clicking noise

I had this same problem with my 18 month old SamSung (42" or 48" i think). The capacitors blew up. What you are hearing is the relays trying to kick on, but with the caps blown, that is as far as you're going to get. If you're handy with a soldering iron, I suggest you go to youtube and search, which is what I did. I went to Radio Shack, spent about $3.60 on three capacitors, $10.00 on a six pack, and for less than $15.00, 5 hours later we had the T.V. powered up in the living room. If you're not handy, I think you're looking at upwards of $400.00 to have it fixed. Hope this helps.

My netbook (Samsung n130) has a keyboard problem. The keys for the letters u,i,o,p,k,l,m and some others are returning numbers or symbols. I have no idea why this has started. Any ideas?

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa!

It seems that you are having problem with the keyboard functionality. Is it typing numbers instead of letters? Just press Fn Nmlk for you to be able to disabled the Numlock on the computer.

Hope this information will help. Thank you for using FixYa!
