I have a coleman 5317 RC series lantern that wont go into the dim mode what can I do

Hello. I've just looked at several Coleman lamps, some have krypton bulbs (mainly battery powered), some spiral fluorescent bulbs (mainly mains powered/charged). If this one is yours http://www.coleman.com/Parts/100/parts-lanterns/5317-702/remote-control-pack-away-family-size-lantern# then it appears yours has a spiral fluorescent bulb. Gas discharge bulbs commonly are fired up by an initial high voltage pulse then followed by a continuous ac medium voltage (say 80 volts or so) to give a FIXED LIGHT OUTPUT.
THIS DOES NOT ALLOW CONTROLLED DIMMING. Dimming can usually only be done on an INCANDESCENT TYPE bulb eg an older type tungsten filament bulb. These are however much less efficient.
So in summary, if you do have a fluorescent bulb, I don't know why your remote indicates you can dim it. You could try switching the bulb for an incandescent type, but this should only be attempted by qualified persons. Check over the user manual again. Good Luck.

Im trying to figure put a constant power supply for powering several servos.

I buy wall chargers that match needed voltage cut the cord right at the plug for whatever it was used with before and shoulder them in. Besides that but a transformer and wire into your house permenatly. Or wire the transformer to the male end of an extension cord and just plug it in. Make sure your inputs and outputs are all correct. 11_15_2013_2_57_21_pm.png

I have a UniRoss X-Press 300 charger which takes 4 Nicad AA Batteries. I want to be able to charge sealed Battery Pack of 4.8 V. How can I do it with this charger?

You can't as the charger has bad cell detection so the charger most likely has individual circuits for each cell so wont work as a charger for 4 cells in series (such as your 4.8V pack for instance). You need to obtain a charger suitable for 4.8V NiCd battery packs. Assuming your battery pack is for a specific device there would be a dedicated charger available for it Alterntively there are a number of multi-voltage chargers available that will do the job. I don't know what country you are in or what capacity (mAh) the battery pack is so I'm going to assume it's less than 1000mAh or not much more. A globally available charger that will most likely suit is the Ansmann ACS110 I've linked a supplier in Australia but they are also available in most other countries. The only issue you have if you get one is how to connect to your battery pack. Assuming the included plugs may not be suitable then alligator leads & other output connectors that maybe suitable are generally available from places like Jaycar, Radio Shack etc.

I lost the wall plug and I do not know the output of the handheld cobra micro talk charging stand model # ga-cf S/n t606a14731 How do I replace wall plug or the voltage outage

looks like it's a 12V power supply. You should be able to go to Radioshack and buy a 12V DC power supply (Us in the trade sometimes call them wall worts). Take the device in with you to make sure that the plug style is the same.

I have a yamaha ef3000iseb generator. Runs well, but puts out too much voltage, about 150 volts. Bought service manual, only shows weak or no voltage , nothing on high voltage.

The model you have shows to be a Inverter. You may have a defective voltage regulator. Visit the below URL for a dealer near you.

Energizer CHDC charger suddenly not indicating if charging or not

It sounds like the PC Board which provides the circuitry for the Charger's indicating light is malfuntioning. If you have a DC volt-meter, you can check the Charger's output voltage, and then the Battery voltage to determine if your charger is functioning.

Hint: If the Charger has an output voltage, but the Battery's voltage is less than its rated voltage... it's time for a new battery.

14.4 B&D firestorm battery will not charge. I got it about a year or so ago online and just now tried to use it. charge is gone and it won't charge. do they wear out if not used?

Yes, Batteries can go bad if not keep charged. The problem may also be the charger itself. If you have a DC Voltmeter, you can check the charger's output...... if no output voltage is apparent (or too low an output voltage, relative to the Battery's voltage, it may be time to replace the charging unit.
