For a password reset, a code is generated and sent to, either
1)Email address: The email address you used to register for a facebook account.
2)Mobile Number:The mobile number used during facebook registration.
When a password reset request is raised on the web-app, it prompts you to choose either an email address or the mobile number.
It is better to receive reset code on your email address than your mobile number, as it is sure and fast way of receiving reset code.
Hope this answers your question.
Hi. You need just "zip" codes simply connect tom tom to computer then find zip folder on yahoo or use this link http://www.tomtomforums.com/attractions/1563-zip-code.html first post , unzip the folder and copy on tom tom the problem could happen still the best way will be to get new software using for example tomtom home aplication but please copy maps on computer for example western_and_central_europe or just uk that will be only one folder also please make a copy of voices folder at the end just please format tomtom device reboot connect to tomtom home get latest navcore should tell automatically that you need navcore and download it install tomtom home will do this automatically and copy back maps and folder voices with zip codes folder as well. sorry for my bad english
I was able to speak with Tech Support at Tom Tom and got sent some links for solutions to these problems. I was able to solve the problem following directions from this website. Without that response of the support person to this specific problem, I would still be without my new GPS system. Turned out that there is a conflict with the MAC OS and updates to Tom Tom, but there is a solution to this that worked for me.
If you get the continual red circle with blinking "X" and recently tried updating either your maps or most recent app, here are the two web links that will solve the problem:
www.tomtom.com/10324 (to disable SPOTLIGHT from causing a conflict on the Tom Tom ONE)
www.tomtom.com/9091 (general info for removing software and re-installing software to the Tom Tom ONE)
Do the disabling of SPOTLIGHT first, then remove and re-load software for Tom Tom ONE. Good Luck. This did the trick for me.
You can download software from reliance web site, its available there. For that you have to connect you PC from web through any other/existing resource. Else it is easily available with Reliance Web worlds. Only thing one has to remember, to use original s/w and data cable
Even when you do that it doesn't really update it just updates the software so that it looks like you can update the maps but when you touch to update it just tells you, you have to get an updated map for about $100.00 US. This is bull because you pay upward of 400.00 for this GPS. Then you have to pay pay and pay out of pocket over and over again. So there should be a way to update the map without coming out of pocket every year. The really funny thing is that I got mine about 1.5 years ago and the maps were about 3 years old if not more. Now they even want money to update POI now. Which they probably charge the owner of a business to have his address and number available for the consumer that has this line of GPS available? Tom Tom should probably take a look at other brands like Garmin for instance and see why they are doing so much better in sales because there maps are better. But like any computer its always the software that make it or breaks it in this market.....
