Mothercare Ascot Cot. Where can I obtain drop side catches for it please?

Question turned around for clarity. 'Make model (what it is)' in that order and first please.

Didn't I answer this earlier today? I gave information how to find the parts. Here it is. It tells you to contact them and details how on page 1 top left. A good big box store like Home Depot or Sainsbury's Home Base carry parts like this in the hardware fixing aisle.

We have been given a Mothercare Taunton cot bed WD246SH...but we have no fittings, nuts or bolts of any description. Can anyone supply the full set ?

Contact Mothercare direct and they should be able to get a full set. Or if you go to B&Q or Sainsbury Homebase, you should be able to pick up fasteners that will fit.

All the parts as listed on Page 4 of the manual with the number you need. The problem part might be Part 'J'.

I have a WESTBURY COT BED and one of the drop side guide pins has broken and needs to be replaced.

No! And this is a critical component. I hate to tell you but you should throw the drop side away. You can use as a toddler bed or headboard and footboard to a twin, but it is unsafe as a crib and this is a prime example of why drop sides were banned.

How to take apart mothercare ashton cot

Disengaging the 'drop-side' is the tricky part.
You'd need a size 4 allen key. Assembly instructions will help you locate the screws: http://help.mothercare.com/resources/mothercare/products/Ashton_Cot_Dropside_UPDATE
Before you begin removing screws, you must first disengage the lower part of the 'drop-side'.
At a point midway between the "High" and "Low" postions - the lower side should be pulled outwards (towards yourself). Now lower the 'drop-side' - to release free. It would have been nice if they had marked this position on a visible edge.
Proceed to removing screws in the reverse order of assembly.2_5_2012_7_45_11_am.jpg
