Question about One For All Televison & Video
Hello, I have just bought on the 10-02-12, a new URC 7557 , black, One for All remote control to replace our toshiba remote and digibox remote to combine into one remote control, but the URC 7557 does not respond and the toshiba INNIA has copied all its data onto the new URC 7557 digibox controller (one for all) but the digibox remote does not work. We have tried the fast learner(pressing respond 150+~ +times (channel program change +)as well )with no response. We found the correct code from the toshiba list as well as trying several others from your manual, sometimes knocking out data from the new urc 7557 remote. It refused to co-operate. The old digibox remote still works as normal but will not transfer its data to the new urc 7557. Do I take it back for a refund. Please advise. The new URC 7557 Remote Control was supposed to replace the old toshiba remote control AND the digibox remote control and it has not.(Two down to one), as stated on the packaging for the One For All. Also the channels switch to digital changeover from the TV companies a few days ago took away a lot of info from the old toshiba remote and now it does not work properly. The TV is a Toshiba about 10 years +~~.The Digibox is about 5.years ++~~ Are the two old remotes suitable for the new remote,URC 7557 bought from Homebase, £20=99, and is the Toshiba INNIA Television suitable. The changeover has inconvenienced us a great deal and we are not amused. Have you a solution please. Stephen Thompson

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Remote Control for TC-14S4RL
I brought it back to the store and bought a Philips Universal remote - I think the number is URC 3400. Much easier to find code. Everything is fine now.

i had the same problem, in the end i went through some codes at random (using the codes in the back of the One For all manual).
Dropped lucky and discovered that the Alba code 1284, worked for me. All remote functions worked spot on.
Hope this helps.
