Question about Texas Instruments BA-II Plus Calculator

BA-11 I don't know how to reformat the decimel point.

I have a BA-11 (not plus) We can't move the decilel point.

    I can;t set the decimal point and the calculator rounds everything up.

Hit FIX and then the number of decimal places you want displayed.

I also think that FIX 9 - is the default and will display the greatest number of places used

Rounding up


By default the BA-II Plus displays two digits to the right of the decimal point, for dollars and cents. To change the number of digits, press 2nd [FORMAT] and a digit from 0-8. Use 9 for floating decimal display.

No decimal display on TI BA-II calculator


Your BA II PLUS stores numeric values internally to an accuracy of 13 digits. However, the numbers it displays depends on the number of decimal places to which you have it set (choice of 0–9 or floating decimal). To set the number of decimal places displayed to three: hit [2ND][FORMAT][3][ENTER]This setting also continues indefinitely (even though the calculator is turned off and on) until it is changed.

Changing batteries and life span


It's written in the back of the calculator, mate ! A TI BA ii Plus uses a CR2032 battery, which is 3V, 60 micro A.
Just go to the shop and give them the battery model.
