We just got a sears 469.84044 Tripod. We cannot figure out how to put the handle down for packing? any help? firstname.lastname@example.org thanks

If you have lost the screw no problem. Take the camera with you and go to you r local hardware store and fit it with a new bolt or srew.. It will be a standered size and thread. I loose this part all of the time

Usually the camcorder has a hole next to the mounting screwhole. The plastic nub fit into the unthreaded hole, the mounting screw screws into the threaded hole. The nub is to help prevent the camcorder from rotating while you are using it on the tripod.
