Sounds like a sensitivity problem.

1) Go to "Control Panel"
2) Go to "Mouse"
3) There should be a slider bar that says "Slow" "Fast" just make it slower an it will slow down the mouse.

If this is only happening sometimes, it could be that your system is bogged down. You could try closing a bunch of programs that are loading on startup or getting more ram for your machine.

I am using my mouse then all of a sudden it jumps to a corner of the screen and wont move for a couple seconds even when i try to move my mouse. It is a logitech mouse and is a couple years old any ideas?

Your mouse is jumping, it got an itchy thing on it. By the
way, just try to blow strong over the opening of the laser eye at the bottom of your mouse. It has an accumulated
dust. We are trying to take the dust off. See if this work,
and let us know by e mail.

Have tried 3 different mice with this hp520OJ model computer, how to fix problem of the mice not working well at all - pointer does not go where you want it to, have to try for a really long time

is it jumping or go very slowly? If it is very slow then go to control panel and find mouse under pointer options find pointer speed and increase or if very fast then decrese and mach your requirement. If jumpes and one time is in one corner and then to other vithout your "help" to move then check latest antivirus software and scan for viruses , also find anything newly installed application may conflict with it.

The cursor on my mouse is jumping all over the place, and I can't control it. How can I open the back of my mouse, so that I can clean the ball any thing else in the mouse. I have a Logitech M-S69.

there should be a circle ring around with arrows. Twist it so it opens. Then the ball will fall out. There are 3 places grims will build up. Get some tweezers and pull that stuff off.

You should probably get a laser mouse. I am sure amazon has them for a couple bucks.

Go to my computer, right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager, then look down the list for mice and pointing devices, click the '+' sign and right click on your touchpad and select uninstall, do the same on the keyboard line and then restart the pc.

Both touchpad and keyboard will be reinstalled and then ready to use again as it should be back to normal

My mx1000 likes the corner of the screen

Check the batteries. Try changing them to see if this resolves the problem.

Ensure that you have a good surface for the mouse to travel on and make sure that the receiver for the mouse hasn't fallen down the back of your desk etc as this will cause the cursor to jump around the screen.

Hope this helps
