percussive maintenance my friend. Try banging on the solenoid and starter with a hammer while in the start position. Also, if you have a voltmeter, you can see where voltage is getting to and that will help you as well.

Hi..my name is Keith...to answer your question..there is no certain position to put the blades and there is enough clearance that they wont hit...but there is a proper torque on the nut when reinstalling the blade..and its usually like 100 foot pounds..i hope this has helped

The thermostat is there to help cool the engine by slowing the flow enough to let the radiator cool the fluid. I would install a new one, but flush the engine and radiator first. Also are you losing any coolant? Could be a head gasket.

it is located on the right side trace the top raditor hose where it goes into the block the thermostat houseing will be there
