Crack in the screen? well the screen is the end result of small light mirrors and a color wheel that can project up to and more than 16 million colors ...... so that screen is very important to recieving these light shows and making a nice picture. a crack ... yes you will see all kinds of crazy things... and even probably on your wall behind you.

Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. Tv fell off about 3 feets or more?Yes,turn on the tv see if u getting any power to the unit?Might have broken main PCB board too.If unit still have power, check see if tv get statics screen have colors shaded in red or mutiples colors, mean the tv CRT(tv tube) yoke is dead and damages scrambles radiation.Or the tv getting power but have high pitch sqeeling noises or rattles noises,tv have the CRT-(tv tube) is crack by the neck or broken totally.CRT have damages problems or dead tv is worthless, beacause of CRT(tv tube) is dead, not fixable even that antena connector input is replaced.
I think there might be a scenario where the screen is broken or your tv has bad pixels...try to switch off the tv and see is there any crack or indentation in the area where your having the lines..if so its clear that its broken better take it to the tv manufacturer for repair
Well if you still have sound it means that not everything is dead inside.
You could take off the back cover and look for cracks or broken solder joints(specially around the larger transformers on the main circuit board,
You might also want to look at the small board mounted on the back(neck)of the picture tube and make sure it is plugged in all the way.
As for resurrection you may need patience and lot of solder. Good luck
The continuous blink code indicates some failure in communication between the computer in the set and the big signal-processing chip that controls most of the TV's video functions. Since the set fell, it's probably due to a either cracked circuit board or a broken picture tube.
If the board is cracked, it might repairable if the broken circuit traces can be found and patched. If the tube is broken (because the shock of the fall cracks the glass neck of the tube and allows air to leak in), it's time to replace the TV.
There's really nothing you can do on your own to fix this. Your best bet is to see if a professional can come out and give you an estimate. (Or use this as an excuse to get new flat-screen which would take up a lot less room!)
If I understand you correctly, you would like a way to fix your TV screen. Is it glass and is the glass broken? If so, there is no way to repair a broken tube. Infact it is now hazardous to your health. Phosphorous,Mercury vapour, etc. Dispose of it at a legal site, it is toxic to the environment. Cheaper to replace the set. Good luck,JUS004
for sure the main board its broken and 80% chances that the picture tube has some internal damage that may can cause a rainbow effect, discoloration or color shadows. if you want it to try you can find the broke line traces on the main board , you can buy some tools at any radio shack store , and follow intructions . but its your bet to try the risk to have that picture disoloration and or learn some electronics
