    1) The Cisco Router is conected to the internet via PPPOE showing the ISP internet address (WAN)
2)The LAN address of the CISCO router is 192.168.10.1.This is the gateway address on the PC. PC is 192.168.10.6.
    3) I what to connect to the Nanostaion 172.29.x.x which is the station bridge to the AP, from the PC
    4) Only one Nanostation.
    5) The PC is connected to the Cisco router as above.

Yes, to do this there are some simple steps that you need to perform in your PC.
1)Go to the network connections wizard and give an additional ip address to the Wifi / LAN connection through which you want to connect ot the Nno in the same ip range as 172.29.0.10 and a subnet mask as requiredbut no give any gateway ip as the primary gateway of your PC is 192.168.10.6

Now go to start and Run and type "cmd" then pres Enter.
Command prompt will come. Here type the following
    cd\ then Enter
    route add 172.29.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 172.29.x.x(NANO IP)
now ping the nano and see what you get..

Don't you require an RJ-11 for a phone line, cause I don't see one on this model? In any case, the ATM protocol should be handled by the ISP modem, and the router should just pick up the established network over Ethernet.

Connect the ISP modem to main uplink port. Then connect pc to any other port. Done. Some models come with a setup disc, but not absolutely required.

Where do you get cisco connect

Cisco connect is the software that comes with the router.
You might have installed the Cisco connect software while installing your router for the first time.
Once you open the Cisco connect software for E1000, you will find the password to access the wireless network.
If you have not installed Cisco connect then you can open the setup page of the router and check the wireless settings.

I cannot connect wirelessly to my router from my lap top

Set up a Linksys Wireless Router
  • 1 Choose and purchase a Linksys router, taking into account your budget and computing habits.
  • 2 Attach the antennas to the Linksys wireless router.
  • 3 Place the router in a central location, making sure it's not surrounded by metal. (A signal can't be obtained through metal.) The router should be located so that the distance between clients (computers) is somewhat equal. This will create a better connection.
  • 4 Plug the Ethernet cable into the "Internet" port on the back of the Linksys router.
  • 5 Connect a computer to the router by plugging another Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on your computer and attaching the other end to one of the available ports on the back of the router. You can choose any port except the one labeled "WAN."
  • 6 Plug the router into an electrical outlet.
  • 7 Wait for the power light to stop flashing, at which time the router is finished booting up. While the router is booting, the power light will be blinking. This process may take a few minutes to complete.
  • 8 Reboot your computer so it can access a new IP address from the router through the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
  • Configure the Router
  • 1 Open your web browser, type " http://192.168.1.1/ " into the address bar and hit "Enter."
  • 2 Use "Admin" as the username in the pop-up box and leave the password blank.
  • 3 Connect to the Internet and click on "Internet Setup."
  • 4 Select your connection type from the drop-down menu. Choose "DHCP" for cable modems or "PPPoE" for most DSL modems. If you are unsure of these options, check with your ISP.
  • 5 Set a service set identifier (SSID) to identify the router and change the password.
  • 6 Encrypt your wireless connection using a Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) key. Under the "Wireless Security" option, enter a passphrase and click "Generate." This will generate a password which will need to be used by any client connecting to your router.

Cant get my linksys router to work

does your ISP use DHCP or PPPOE and what is the LAN IP address of their MODEM ,,, now IF they use DHCP and Lan ip is anything other than 192.168.1.1 then in back of linksys press reset button in back of linksys and hold it down (with power on to linksys) for 20 seconds then wait for 2 min and turn linksys off (unplug pwr cord) and your modem off for 3 to 5 min. turn your modem on first and wait for your dsl light and wait 2 min then turn pwr on to linksys (plug pwr back in) and wait another 2 min. IF ISP is PPPOE or if their mdm has same lan ip have your ISP bridge mdm if they have dhcp you won't have to do any thing else but pwr cyc as i said above if they use pppoe then have linksys on and type 192.168.1.1 in address bar and type "admin" in for password only (if that don't work use it for both then where it say internet connection type set it for pppoe and type in your email address and password in the username and password field and save and pwr cyc mdm and router again
