That is a very good question! Unfortunately, I cannot help and I don't think it would be a very good idea to wear sunglasses at night (despite the song about it).

It is always recommended that you avoid pointing a laser pointer at eyes because they can cause eye damage. The very strong laser pointers come with some dorky looking protective glasses and they come with these glasses come with the laser because they are dangerous.

I do a lot of nighttime driving and sometimes I feel like my eyes get very sore and it can become hard to see. Any tips?

Minimize the glare of car headlights by focusing on the bottom right hand corner of the road. Also you should flick your eyes occasionally from the road to the dashboard to try and minimize the risk of 'road hypnosis' which can be very dangerous and lead to accidents.

Also if you wear glasses, you can get an anti reflective coating on your lenses to also help minimize the glare.

Trying to find an english version of the Zeiss Orion 80 starlight scope user manual. Thanks

There isn't much to them. Zeiss NV Orion 80. It has two switches, one for IR and the other for turn on/off. It has lens adjustment on both ends. The eye viewer is used to set and correct you eye to focal point Caution: Never look through you NV Zeizz during the day. Also, at night never look a bright lights. Bright lights will kill the little wigits vampires, dead. Really bright lights will destroy the image intensifier tube. Once the tube is gone, it will be expensive to replace it. Don't miss tread it, keep out the water/rain/snow and salt water. Don't let grandfather play with it. He will he will be seeking window in the early morning. So, instead of taking a walk about. Display hurts my eyes.

It appears that your eyes are struggling to resolve the image on your TV. There are a number of factors that can be causing your problems. The first thing to check is if you have any refractive error. This can be done at an optometrist's office. Some pharmacies also have self diagnostic tools.
Check the distance of your TV. Anything closer than six feet will require that you focus harder to watch TV. This can tire your eyes over time, more so if you are over the age of 40.
Also check the contrast and color balance of the TV. If the light is too dim, or too bright, then this can cause eye strain also. So, in summary, place the TV at a good distance, make sure that the TV is not too bright or dim (white should have about the same brightness as a white piece of paper) and check if you have any refractive error (glasses prescription).

How to chooes the best sunglasses for Healthy Eyes??

Whether you go for the Risky Business or Olson sisters' look, make sure your shades have 100% UV protection to filter both UVA and UVB rays. Oversize and wraparound frames offer more coverage to protect the soft tissue around your eyes. And polarized lenses make it easier to see in very bright conditions. The brand is not that important . Make sure that when wear your sunglasses it covers up your entire sight.
