Question about HP PSC 2510 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a HP PSC 2510 all in one. As the devise is printing and or coping the image is skewed and distroted to the left as the paper exits the printer. Need help please has anyone seen this?
The drive rollers are probably contaminated, hardened or worn.
You can try doing something through the manual feed; take a fresh sheet of quality paper, make a fat line across it with pure alcohol (not rubbing alcohol; too much water), let the printer pull the sheet in a few inches, then hold the paper to stop it, doing this several times before the sheet is fully pulled in.
If you are lucky, and you have traces of black on the sheet when it exits, you might have cleaned the rubber drive rollers a little.
Another possibility is, you may have a scrap of paper in the paper path causing problems but to check this, you will need some disassembly, not always a 'fun' project.
