Question about NetGear WGT624 Wireless Router
In XP go into network connections - right click on your connected LAN device - choose properties. Uncheck File and Print sharing.
Other than that - Make sure you have an administrator password set - and make sure you have a good password set for your user.
More info would be nice, like what Operating system you are using and how you are connected... Router? Wireless? Cable? DSL?
