Question about Kenmore Refrigerators
Our refrigerator is suddenly stopped working. We bought this refrigerator 3 years ago. It makes some sound and pushing air instead of cold. It was a lot of dust under refrigerator. We cleaned it.
Please let us know what should we check and where the part that needs to be checked is located.
You can e-mail me at email@example.com or call 612-245-2395.

its what we in the business call "refrigerator cancer" they are rusting form the inside out. there is not repairing them and not worth the cost of replacing, you can take them off and spray them you might get a little time outta them. reason it happens is the insulation used years ago was fiberglass and would trap moisture between door and liner, eventually rusting through.. new refrigs are insulated with blown in poly-styrene. they don't hold moisture.

In the back of the refrigerator, there should be a vent. Put your hand over it and see if air is coming out. This will tell you if the fan the other poster mentioned is working. If no air is moving then either the fan is bad or the channel is plugged. If only a small amount of air is moving through, open the freezer door and check the air flow again. If the flow got much better, then the return channel is plugged. Try these steps, and if they help post back and I will tell you what to do next.
