Memory is full

Hi,

I bought a Mitsuba DV9002 in August. It has a slot for a SD card and a slot for a DVD. I have tried to record to the 4G SD card only, the DVD only, and I have even tried to record with both in the camera and I must not have it on a correct setting because after 3 minutes the camera says that memory is full. I am assuming that it is only recording to the memory on the camera and not to the SD card or DVD.

The instruction manual is not very helpful with troubleshooting.

Please help!

Thanks,

Gretchen

You can only use a 2GB SD card. It is in the manual. I'm not sure on dvd.

Take out your SD card, shut off the camera, then turn back on and go straight to the picture or video window and when it shows you the image click the small menu button next to the led button. this will get you into the menu for the video or picture setting. scroll down to delete. Click the menu button again and scroll to delete. Hit the menu button again and it will erase all the internal memory. Remember this devise only runs on mega bites so the internal memory is really small that is why an SD card is really preferred. However my camera will only recognize a 1gig SD card. My 4gig card does not work even though I read another reader posted that they only use a 4gig SD card. I brought my camera to the store to find out how much GIG it could handle. A 4 gig would fit my needs much better.

I bought this same camera and had it tested at the store and it will only handle a 1 gig SD card. Video is only 35 minute capacity.

You can only use 1024mb or 1 GB in this unit. I had the same problem and bought a 1 gb which now works. Someone did say you can use a 2gb but have not tried one yet

SOURCE: Memory is full

The instruction manual should have instructions on how to set it to use the SD or DVD. I'll have to find myself a copy and figure it out for you. if you have the manual on a CD or on your computer

Inserted 4G memory card...says memory card is full...when I try to format the card, get filesys error e00100.....

The C330 uses MMC and SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they are electronically incompatible and won't work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

Camera freezes up

Use a higher quality SD card. PNY or SanDisk usually works well with flash camcorders. Also make sure it's a HCSD card ( High Capacity ).

Need help

You can record to any DVD disk. The only difference between single layer and double layer is the amount of information you can put on the disk.

Open disc

Take a butter knife and put it in the slot and pop the rubber insert up. After you do that a couple of times you can do it with your finger nail.

MITSUBA DV9002, WON'T RECORD TO DVD OR DOWNLOAD TO COMPUTER

Ok, discovered a few things. You guys are absolutely right. I looked in the side compartment for the DVD, there is nothing in there to do the recording, so yes....it is for looks. The "lens" or what you think is the lens in fact is just the viewing tube to sight the picture. The actual lens is the little dot below the tube. Cam is very light sensitive and will pixelate badly if you try to zoom in on anything.
However, I did figure out that you have to have the knob on the side set to USB in order to pull pics off camera. I agree with the above post.....it is a piece of junk!!!!
