SOURCE: Losing track settings when saving SNG. files on Korg Triton

Once you modify any settings or special effects you have added you must save that file within the program save options you are working in at the time when you made your modifications. Also , your file extension must be whatever is allowed within that program . You cannot change the extension to save it somewhere else or all of your changes will be lost.

If your tracks are mostly MIDI you can use "Administrator" rights to change the extension from .rpp to .mid and other programs will load those tracks as standard midi files. I've tested this out and it works.

I have musicshop 1 and have loaded it onto an osx mac with classic. Unfortuantely, even with the right codes it will not run under classic. It opens, appears to be fine, will read the files but then will not play them. in fact it will do nothing with them. Good luck in finding a solution. Only solution I can come up with is get an old mac, load it all, convert files to midi, and transfer them to a modern program.

Triton Le

when you are setting your midi track on the mpc are you changing to 2A-Device02 for the 2nd track? 3A-Device02 would be the 3rd track and so on. Let me know if that helps. you should make a new track for each instrument you record from the triton to the mpc, helps when dumping.
