Question about Poulan Pro 42CC 2 Cycle Chainsaw, 18"
Saw is new, less than 20 hours use. I have taken great care to keep the gas mixture clean and of correct oil ratio.
Could be just a carb adjustment required, the L screw on the carb will richen up the mixture, if increaseing the the idle screw does not help, try extra 1/4 turn out on the L screw, make sure the air filter is clean before makeing any adjustments.

Testimonial: "Thanks, I'll check it out this weekend to see which it is. I'm pretty sure there are no screwdriver slots but I'll have to look closer to make sure....eyes aren't what they used to be."
