Not sure it is a driver issue but the best/ newest driver can be obtained from nvida's website could be the game & os don't like each other or mobo chipset and video card chipset are incompatable also

Installing an mic geforce fx5200 128mb pci-e card on my emachines t3408, and it seems that the pci slots on my computer are reversed from the pins on the card. please help!

It seems to me that your computer has an AGP slot which is a much older type of interface. AGP is much older and they no longer use them.

From the model you posted, you have 1 AGP video card slot and 2 PCI expansion slots. there are some but very few companies that do make cards for PCI that will be much better than an emachine onboard video.

But your computer will not support PIC-E

Is DFI AK75-AL compatible with 128Mb/128 bit video card?

Yes, the DFI AK75-AL motherboard has a VIA KT-133A chipset which is compatible with a FX5200 videocard, but not at the full 8x AGP speed (as the videocards supports) but only at 4x AGP speed (maximum speed supported by the motherboard).

PS: Make sure you use the newest motherboard BIOS en VIA chipset drivers to ensure compability.

AGP Device Gigabyte GeForce FX 5200

The AGP speed (x4 -- x8 -- x2 etc etc) is probably set to a lower setting in bios and it could be set on a higher speed. it can be also set in windows by a program possibly.

AGP card to replace inboard graphics card

Yes, your GeForce is compatible with the BRIOs AGP 2X port. And there is no problem in using an 8X board in a 4X or 2X AGP slotted motherboard... it would only be a problem if you have a 1X AGP port which is rather old (fisrt agp ports on the market).
