Question about HP Computers & Internet
Microsoft includes the Product key with the documentation that came with the install CD. But if it has been lost there is a remedy.
Productkey replacement is done solely through Microsoft, but finding the rightplace to do it can be daunting. Here's how to cut through the red tape, most of it anyhow:
Click here to bring up Microsoft's product replacement page.
Scroll down a few lines.
On the left side, under the second 'More Information' header, click on 'Replacement Product Key'.
This will walk you through the procedure. You'll be up and running in no time.

If its a retail version there is phone no. on the back of the cover. You need to call microsoft and they will provide you with a new product key.
However if the CD was provided to you for the vendor like HP or DELL in that case you nedd to contact them first before contacting Microsoft.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
