Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
Hi. I have a Fisher and Paykel GLW11 washing machine that will not fill with water. I had an out of balance load that caused the washer to move about 1 foot. I redistributed the load and there was about 1/4" of water remaining in the tub. I tuned it on and it seemed to work fine until later it began beeping. It appeared to have the same 1/4" of water in the bottom of the tub. I redistributed the load again (although it looked fine) but then I could not get any water. The hoses are hooked up and turned on. I cycled the start/pause button a few times and the water began coming out so I decided to start the wash cycle over from the beginning. The tub rotated fine as it should at the beginning of the wash cycle but there was no water. I tried cycling the start/pause button, the power switch, and I unplugged it hoping it would reset but nothing worked. All the lights appear to function normally I just have no water.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel Out of Balance
I agree. Told repair shop that i wished i had a duet front loader. have not liked the FP from day one and the price--OUCH! I have a Duet front loader washer and dryer in my 2nd home and love them. daughter in laws have them too and love them.
FP--doesn't hold much. Not supposed to wrap anything around the agitator--how do you wash sheets or blankets or anything large? i take my large comforters to the laundromat. I end up manually choosing high water setting and Heavy Duty on FP to get clothes clean.
Hate this product and would not recommend to anyone.
Neighbor has new FP double oven. She has it repaired so many times that FP is giving her a new one--repairman is tired of fixing and says it is a lemon.

SOURCE: out of balance during wash
Ok you need to check your machine is level- if not adjust feet. You aslo need to check the Bias spring is still attached if not get a new one or re-attach it. The Bias spring is a little spring that connects from the top of the front left suspention rod to the top of the plastic bowl cover (this spring is meant to help stop it going out of balance so easy. Cheers

It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:
