Question about ASUS Eee PC 1000H Laptop
I tried messing around with my Elantech Smart-pad program on my Eee PC 1000H, just to change the zoom levels. It now refuses to function as it used to, as in when I used to double tap the trackpad while hovering over the top of a window it used to maximize it, I used to double tap a word and it used to highlight it. It no longer does this and instead when I double tap the trackpad all that appears is the right click dropdown menu. So the problem is that the one finger double tap (double click) on the trackpad is set to Right Click, there are no options in the Elantech Smart-pad to change this. Thankyou very much in advance, help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I'm not actually sure if you can do this by yourself, or you might just have to get a technician to fix it for you.
What I would suggest that you should do is to get a replacement keyboard for the laptop, you can even buy it from an electronics store by yourself and get a technician to fix it for you (If you cant do it by yourself), this way it would be cheaper.
This is because it is not always advisable to try and repair a laptop keyboard, because one way or the other, it would still develpo problem again. So its better you change it outright and put the inconvenience behind you.
Hope this helps.

You'll need to us the Fn key functions.
Check out your keyboard, there should be a Fn key, probably on the bottom row. Also, probably in the number row, there's a set of dual function keys, one will have a picture of a screen.
Press the Fn key and the screen function key at the same time, should switch between external and internal screen.

Left click the start of what you want to copy. Hold down the shift key (the key below Caps Lock) and press the arrow which points to the right. This will highlight text for copying. If you go too far you can use the left arrow to go back while holding down the shift key.
