SOURCE: Element Electronics FLX2211B 22 in. LCD TV will reset every time

I have run into the same problem with a different model (32 inch from Circuit City). You may have found that there is almost no support from the co or web. I do not have an official solution but have some work arounds that have done the job for me.
WA#1 = after a channel scan tune to a HD/digital channel before you turn the set off. You need to do this each time for several times, because the set when turned on to a regular cable or analog station will default to skip all channels. After several times the set should remember your channels.
WA#2 = after a channel scan, go to the skip channel section of the menu, and if your remote has the colored buttons on the bottom scroll through the channels using the red and green (up and down on this menu) buttons. This apparently helps the set remember not to skip your scanned channels.
These are not glamorous solutions but appear to trick the TV into not re-setting the skip function for the channels.
Best of luck.

SOURCE: TV is on, but screen is black.

In your set, there is a section that receives the IR signal from your remote, then translates the pulses sent and initiates the action you chose. I think the failure is happening in this 2nd circuit which is now doing whatever it wants. This section may be located on the main board or could be part of the IR receiver board. The only thing you might try is this:
- Pull the AC plug and let the unit sit overnight. - Remove the back panel of the set. - Look for any cables connecting the different boards, carefully unplug these one at a time and then reconnect.
If you are lucky, it is only the failure of contacts in one of these interconnecting cables. If there is no change in the behavior of the set, then a component has gone intermittant and to locate and replace the faulty component, you are stuck with either a board exchange or replacement of it. You will have to contact the service company for that brand to get the cost involved with either a repair or replacement board.
Unfortunately, the sets we are now buying are not nearly as reliable and far more complex than the previous generation of CRT-type sets made in countries other than China.

Fault in the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Frigidaire oven -- won't bake, everything else works

Hi, you mentioned the voltage supply appears good, but have you checked the bake element itself for voltage or continuity ? I don't recommend checking ranges while they have power, so you should unplug the unit from the wall. The lower element's (bake) tend to burn out more frequently because they are used more so I'd start by checking it for continuity. Hope that help's. Let me know if you require tips or guidance to check the element and I certainly will try and assist you. **FYI...It should read very little to no resistance with an ohm meter. If it reads infinte, it's time for a new one. Part # 316075104 and retails for about $30.** Thank's for visiting "fixya" amd good luck. Macmarkus :)
