This is a lawn mower with a kohler courage XT-7 motor. No gas coming out of fuel lines or filter. I am afraid the gas is going into the oil. I have checked the float and needle valve and they seen to be operating.

How many gallon gas do the gas tank hold?

Fill it with the gas can and then go to a gas station. Your gas can can't be much bigger than 5 gallons, there's very few that are larger because they get heavy. Your gas tank is vastly more than 5 gallons, probably 15 or more in an Envoy.

When I put some gummout in gas tank. A few days later I begin to lose acceleration while driving. I bought a new gas filther, but problem came back. Do I need to flush the gas tank?

No, you should probably take it to a mechanic and have it checked out.
Sometimes a simple gas treatment will help your car but if it hasn't been serviced in awhile ... take it in.

I need to drop the gas tank to flush it out.

there is a procedure to follow before removing the gas tank you have to pull the fuel pump fuse then start the vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. This will use up any gas in the line while removing any gas pressure in the line. When the engine dies from lack of fuel then it is safe to remove the hoses

My cousin's 2009 KIA Spectrum stalls when she fills her gas tank. She has had to resort to filling her gas tank only half full to resolve this problem. Is this a problem with the Canister Filter? Have...

My daughter's car does the exactly the same thing. Have had it in 4 times no luck. They say water in the gas and charge me for this and that. I Don't think the gas diagnosis is correct. We buy gas for 4 vehicles at the same place with no problems and 2 of the 4 are Kia's.

LPG gas hob not working in the cold weather, the tank is full. The supply bottle and pipework start outside and the weather in the UK has been -2 degrees for the last few days.

In weather that cold, the tank pressure is low. Tank pressure will increase if tank is warm. The gas will expand to send pressure to the burners. Make sure the regulstor is working. It could be stuck closed in weather that cold. You did open the gas valve right?

2004 chevy 2500 wont take gas into gas tank

I am having the same problem. When turning the pump on full speed it will pump for a few seconds before kicking the pump off like the tank is full even though there is no gas in the tank. I can pump gas if I barely start the pump and hold it by hand but very very slowly so it takes about 20 minutes to fill up. Its not the gas station or the way I am holding the nozzle as I have stopped 20 different places and tried every way imaginable to hold the nozzle. I have changed the filler neck, charcoal canister, and the sensor/filter that is on the side of it that I believe opens to allow fuel vapor to escape and let pressure off the tank when the truck is not running... still no luck. When I had the fuel next off there is a check valve that is made into the top next part of the tank that is spring loaded. I figured this was to keep gas from running back out in the event of a rollover and possibly keep someone from putting a hose down the next and stealing gas. At this point that is the only thing that could possibly be causing the pump to contiune to kick off every few seconds when filling up the tank. Next is to change the tank I suppose unless someone has already ran into this issue and can tell me what I need to do to fix the problem.

Fuel Gauge reads empty, but tank IS full

the float in your gas tank seems to have water in it....water is heavier than gas, that's why gas floats on top of water....try putting something like HEAT in it to dry up the water in your tank....
