Question about Sony Cameras
I accidentally dropped my camera and now the pictures are blurry. It is over 10 years old, should I spend the money to repair it or just replace it?
I'd say the camera's had a good life. Technology's moved along so much in the past decade that any current camera would be a large step forward.

E:61 is a Sony error code for a problem with your lens.
Initializing the camera will put all the settings back to default which can sometimes fix a camera that will not power up or does not function properly in other ways. I love Sony models that have the "Reset" button either inside the battery compartment or on the bottom of the camera, I don't have a T70 on hand to tell you if you have a reset button or not, but if memory serves I do not think you do.
If 'Initializing' the camera does not work then the next step would be to try replacing the lens. If it's still under warranty try sending it in for service. If its not, either look for a parts camera on eBay, or let me know, I know where to get new OEM lenses for amazing prices.
Good luck from Darntoothysam com

I'm sorry to say that you'll probably be able to replace the 6MP camera with a better one for less than the cost of repair, even if attempting the repair yourself.
