Machine says "I need service"

66. (01000001) Pressure Transducer Error [Ptx Frequency > 90 kHz]
Note: this supersedes Fault code 65 from V41 Motor controller code onwards.
The Motor Control module has received signals from the water level sensor (Ptx)
above normal frequency values.
Primary Source: Motor Control module
Action: Replace Motor Control module

I took this from the service repair manual. Hope it helps.

HI error code 66 means you have a pressure transducer out of range error. This means that the control module is faulty and needs replacing.please confirm that the error code is numbered 66. On some machines the pressure switch is seperated and sometimes the plastic tub for the switch gets clogged up and blowing through it will sometims clear this fault. Not sure about this particular machine, but you can try adjusting water level to see if it will work at a different level of water.

Miele washing machine W5740. keeps saying fault f59 please help

There is no F59 error according to me, but there is a F56 error code, this is a tachogenerator error, usually given if the motor is underperforming. This requires either the Carbon brushes to be replaced or even perhaps the motor - Also known as a Spin error.

Hope this helps

I have a Kelvinator Excellence 7.5 Smart Drive 9, which has beeped to tell me there is a fault. There are eight lights on the front panel. This fault has these lights indicating- from left being 1 and...

Hi Renee.Just read your posting. The fault you have is called an out of balance switch fault. Now the repair is not too difficult to do but you will need a Phillips screw driver and possibly an electrical test meter. The switch is located under the top panel ,the one with the buttons. If you would like me to guide you throe the repair please reply.Hope this helps.

My gwl11 will fill and agitate but when it begins the rinse and spin cycles it just keeps recycling the water. The diagnostic says it is a pressure hose fault. How do I fix it?

Hi just read you posting .It sounds like your diverter is stuck in the recycle position. When you say the diagnostic said it was the pressure switch, did it stop and beep and turn some lights on or show you a fault code on your display if you have that model? Please reply and I can guide you throe any repair that needs to be done. Checked my manual and it tells me it is more likely the diverter.

How do I get a replacement chain for my Remington 8'' Pole Saw (Part No 104301-S)

That is not a valid part number (also 8SC NLA Remington & Master). If the pole saw is an RPS96 (LNT-2) with the original or equivilent 8" bar, YOU can make an informed decision based on the following:
"Remington; LNT-2; 8"; All; All; All". You are presented with 3 choices on the following table.

Oregon Bar & Chain Selector
http://www.oregonchain.com/pro/lookups/selguide.aspx?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG

The above results are for an original or equivalent (34 drive link chain to fit) 8" bar. Only YOU can determine your level of expertise, how much risk you are willing to assume and choose one of part numbers listed. Once you make your choice it can be found on the Internet or through local merchants. If your local outlet does not handle Oregon your choice can easily be converted to other chain manufacturers part numbers. I suggest a few phone calls to save you time and gasoline. Given the Oregon part number and your assurance of a purchase, if my store, your chain would be waiting when you walked in the door.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. Thank you for using FixYa and Good Luck. HTH

Please specify the chain (091375-02S) for the 16" DESA chain saw EL-8, so that I can purchase it at a local hardware store. Thank you, jukka@comcast.net

I hope no expert will do as you ask. I will not! I will provide the necessary links and information so YOU can make an informed decision based on what you are given.
Replace Desa with Remington. The EL-8 is not listed, I think if you do a careful inspection of your saw you will find a model number 107624* or 170625* (*matters not). Both of these numbers input below provide the same 3 choices on the following table.

Oregon Bar & Chain Selector

WD8074-FHB washing machine SE on display

LG washing machine error code SE indicates a “motor fault” although the code also says it could be a main PCB fault.
They recommend to... “try the motor first”.
It’s vague and you really need an engineer to try and sort this one.

You can’t possibly justify “trying the motor first” if you are a DIYer unless you at least know how to test a motor for faults and check its connections.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

this clicking of the timer tells you there is a fault somewhere, this could be anything, you have to check things i would do them in this order check the heater element, most common fault second the pump but you said that works then check the motor that drives the drum belt look at the motor control board for any signs of burning etc, this could indicate a motor fault you have not given much info, but with a fault like this thats all you can say, i have given you a brief starting point what and where to look, so happy hunting if i can be of further help get back to me
