How old is this brewer? The older ones have a manual set control, but the newer ones have a digital control. I need to know which one yours is to give you the help you need.

Inside of the front cover is a brew timer dial turn this counter-clockwise a little bit, then try brewing another pot. re-adjust as needed. Just watch where you put your hands in there.

!0 Cup home Bunn. Does not brew the number of cups of water coffee (water) in craft. 8 cups of water 6cups of coffee.

If you don't brew often enough you will loose a small amount of water in the tank due to evaporation while the tank heater comes on and goes off to maintain the proper brewing temperature, so if it has been a while since you last brewed, without coffee in brew basket put a carafe of water thru the brewer, you will get less than a full carafe out because it fills the evaporated space in the tank first then uses the rest to brew. Once your tank heater shuts off usually 5 minutes on less you will get out all the volume you put in.

Keeps spilling over during brewing

These tanks can't actually be overfilled since all water poured in displaces the exact same amount of water coming out the spout. So, whatever amount of water you pour in, will be the same amount of water that flows to your pot minus the amount absorbed by the coffee grounds and filter.

Your problems sounds like an undersized (Non Bunn) filter, or clogged brew basket. To verify this, try pouring in only half the water for your brew cycle and wait for it to finish dripping, then pour in the rest. If no overflow has occurred, you simply have the wrong type of filter. If overflow begins again, you have a clogged brew basket, since no Bunn can flow too fast for the brew basket to keep up with it.

This is because Bunn filters are manufactured differently than generic store bought paper filters. They will flow faster, brew cleaner and stand up better than normal generic filters.
Remember, Bunn makes their OWN filters for good reason.
They made the first, best paper filters for drip coffee pots, and all others are just generic dioxin gas producing paper.

Our Bunn DBC has severely reduced flow in the left unit. There are over 14,000 brews done on it. The fill rate of 53 oz/min is now at 12-14 oz. Do I have a major blockage in the water distribution system....

remove shower heads and clean. It's the 4 inch disks above the brew funnels. You can use a tooth brush on the holes if you can't remove them. try brewing to check if that helps.

Note; if it is a clogged water filter on the main water line then that should be replaced as most filters only last a year. Recalibrating it without the filter change will allow you to brew but will overflow again when the filter is changed. (a change out by the landlord whom may not notify you will cause an overflow, another service call, plus clean up of coffee.

Bunn coffee pot blows water out top of basket

Check the grind on the coffee, brew a pot without coffee and if it overflows, then the machine has a problem. If it doesn't then try a coarser grind on the coffee.

Water over filling pot

There is a brew timer on the left side of your machine near the heater switch. you need to remove an access panel to access it. turn this down a little, let the water heat up, then try another brew. Adjust as needed, brewing another pot between each setting.

BUNN CWTF-15 Not brewing full pot, only 1/2 pot..?

If this problem started after moving the machine, pull the machine out a little & look behind it for a kink in the tubing coming to the brewer. These brewers time the water coming through them, so if a kink is restricting the water flow, running the same amount of time equals much less coffee in the airpot.

I own a bunn and my brother's business owns 2 of these. The rule of thumb as he was told by the salesman is 2 oz of coffee grinds per 48 oz of water.
