Best place is eBay for parts but you can find all sorts of manuals with Google.

Can I Sell Mom's eMac

I believe this is your mac?

This is a very old model and I doubt it will sell for much. I would suggest putting a listing on eBay and craigslist. Price it at about $50. (Do "buy it now" on eBay)
However, you could get a lot of mileage out of it yourself if you want to use it as a personal web server, or a Linux machine. Research both on Google if you are interested (or ask me another question here at fix-ya).

I just got a used e-mac A1002 (1 Ghz/128/60/combo 56K. It has Mac OS X 10.3.3 installed. I'm having problems signing into G-mail. Facebook also appears as just text. As well, can't seem to play...

I would try and find the OS X Tiger installation disks off of eBay, and install Tiger so that you can at least install Firefox, even if it's an older version. Your computer won't be able to run much, because of the limited RAM, and the fact that the processor is extremely slow.

What do I do if every time i turn my emac on there is only a flashing file in the center of the screen and no mouse courser

I have a possible solution, but it would be helpful to know what operating system you have on your eMac. Mac OS X is the Mac operating system. Do you have Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3, or 10.4, for example.
Solution:Do you have your system discs for your eMac or an Mac OS X installation disc? You'll need it to fix the problem. Use the newest disc you have.
WARNING: There is a _slight_ risk of loss of your data (pictures, documents, etc.) when reinstalling your operating system. Backing up your precious photos and other documents is critical!

1. If the eMac is on, hold down the power button until it turns off. 2. Turn the eMac while holding down the mouse button. 3. When the CD/DVD drive opens, put the system disc in (use disc #1 if you have more than one disc). 4. Turn the machine off again by holding down the power button. 5. Turn the machine on while holding down the C key on the keyboard to boot from CD (or DVD). 6. Wait until the eMac boots from your system disc. 7. You should see the install screen. There should be an Options button. Click the Options button. 8. One of the choices will be to do an "Archive and Install". Go ahead and do an "Archive and Install", which will reinstall the operating system but leave your photos and other files. See cautions above. **Do _NOT_ click the option to ERASE the hard drive** or you'll lose all your photos, etc. 9. Once it's all done (expect it to take an hour or more), you should be able to use your computer normally.
Good luck. I hope this is understandable. If you need more help, please post again. *Please rate me if this helped.* Thanks!

I have an eMac and would wireless USB adapter to work

It depends on which eMac you have. The 1/1.25 Ghz and the 1.42 ghz models have USB 2.0 so either adapter will work. The slower speed eMacs only had USB 1.1 and will not work for those types of adapters. The 700/800Mhz models will use the original AirPort card while the rest of the eMacs use the Airport Extreme cards.

I have customers overseas that have the EMACS HP2-6460P power supplies in their systems and they say that the systems do not shut down properly and they eventually unplug the power from the wall. What...

Hello,

I would ask the customer a few questions:

1. Do you have the computer connected to a power adaptor or is it a voltage switching pc?

2. Has the pc always done this? If not, have you changed any power setting in the control panel? (Or have the checked the power setting.)

3. When was the last time the pc shut down properly? Maybe the pc is trying to install updates and need time to finish the install. (If when powering off the pc you see a shield over the power icon from the start menu, let the pc run its course and it should power on/off correctly.)

Good Luck
