Water radiator problem

Check the oil dip stick if it is a milky white this is really bad being cracked engine head or blown head gasket.
More than likely and best out come it will be the radiator or a radiator hose.
If you can see water stain some where around the radiator it does not need to be a big amount.
Or a radiator hose that may have water around it or coming out when hot then that is your leak.
Maybe a good idea to take to a radiator place or a mechanic ask them to put a pressure test on the radiator.
Also only fill radiator when cold or if you need to do when hot make shore the car is running to avoid cracking the engine head as this will make any grown person cry $$$$
And do on a hill with engine facing up running and cap off little bubbles will come out keep filling when bubbles stop put cap on fill reservoir ( a little container next to the radiator).

sounds like it's time to take it to the shop and change head gasket if head is still good ! every time it gets hot it warps it, prob. need new head too !

The first thing to do is look straight up from where the water is dripping on the ground, on the top part of the motor or radiator, sometimes it is easy to see where the water is coming from and sometimes it hidden. After this start checking the hoses for water, also when filling the radiator, it can be going out an overflow, running down because of filling the radiator to fast. There is probably (maby not) a vent screw on the thermostat housing, which would need to be opened turning it counter clockwise a couple turns to let air out of the system while you are filling the radiator. When liquid starts coming out around that screw ,,tighten the screw back. If water is coming from the end of the motor on the passenger side and you can't tell exactly where, the water pump is located on this end of the motor and can leak out slow or fast or more when you are driving. This is a general idea of what to check first and there is a lot of possibilities. Try to pinpoint the area at least where you think the water is coming from. It can have a leak in the radiator, thermostat housing, freeze plug, head gasket, bad radiator cap and more. Those water pumps do go bad.

so there is block in the radiator. does the water overflows from radiator mouth? then you have to give your radiator to nearest radiator service centre, clean it! cost you around 50$ or something! better give the vehicle to a recognised garage and check any gasket are worn out. better make it fast, if you run your vehicle with overheat, you know what will happen! If it overheats very quickly, it likely has a bad thermostat. If the radiator does not fill easily when re-filling, likely the radiator is internally blocked and requires either a flush, boil out or replacement. Make sure any electric fans are properly operating. If you have any white smoke or coolant in engine oil, you may have a blown head gasket. A shop can identify this condition by checking for hydrocarbons in the cooling system, or by doing a compression or leakdown test.Do the easy stuff first...change the thermostat. If problem continues, go further with your diagnostics.

You actually need the thermostat in to pressurize your cooling system or the coolant won't cyle through the radiator, it'll just cycle around the engine. Most people think without the thermostat in the coolant will just pump freely through the engine and radiator, but it doesn't.

Chuck in a new thermostat, purge the air out of the system and see if it overheats then. I gaurentee it won't, if it does then you've got head problems (but they should already be obvious by now).
