SOURCE: How do i replace belt on condenser tumble dryer

you need to remove the whole front of the machine by removing the : top by the 3 screws at the back, then unscrew the screws across the front of the top of the bezel then remove, then open the door, remove the circle of screws then put the machine on its back, remove the screws at the bottom front of the machine, then lift the front bottom of the machine and slide it upwards then you should be able replace the belt then refit in reverse order good luck.

On the rear there is a Heating element hidden under the silver cover, on the top of this unit, there is 2 thermostat's, one is a auto-reset set (On the left) around the 100'c mark and one is a single use thermal trip set at 130'c (on the right, also denoted by a blue spot), the idea is when the heater reaches 100'c is powers off until the air temp drops, once it drops the auto-reset kicks in and forses the heater to power back up, however, in the intrests of safety, if the auto reset fails to power down then the 130'c thermostat will permenently remove power from the heater and will illuminate the filter care light, the only way to restore the power to the heater is to either have an engineer replace the whole heater as Hoover/candy do not sell on the thermal cut out to anyone.

you can usually find the heater unit for £30-40, an engineer may charge upto £140 for the same part and fitting.

Dryer stuck in sensing mode

Since no help was available without premium assistance, I actually contacted a repairman. He performed all the tests again and told me the problem was the control board. Then wanted $600 to fix. I found the part online for $150 and fixed it myself in about an hour. Instructions were easy.

Hoover nextra 5+5 washer dryer HNWF 3135 heating broken

it is seperate heaters for wash and dry and unlikely to be connected with blocked filter tho you should check filter regularly. take top off. on manifold running across top you will see stats. one of these at least is resettable by presssing a small knob in middle and if it has gone you will hear a slight click. then check dryer manifole for build up of lint as pooir air flow can cause stat to pop. for wash heating, start by checking continuity of the wash heater located at the bottom of the tub
