SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Whirlpool 30" electric freestanding range, oven does not work

Thanks Mike.
Yes it is the same.
Make sure that the timer is set to manual, and not on auto or the oven will not work..
It should tell you the procedure in your user instructions.
Plz rate my solution.
thanks.

SOURCE: How do you unlock the oven on a freestanding

Take a wire coathanger and cut the long wire from the middle.
Bend a small "U" shape on one end.
Slide the "U" in from the left side of the oven door near the top center.
Moving the wire back and forth slowwly to grasp the lock latch.
When you feel the latch pull the wire firmly to the left to open the door.
Then have the latch mechanism repaired.

Probably a bad door lock solenoid. That is some kind of door lock problem. Trouble is they are not all the same. This training manual shows locations of model number. Perhaps if you post that I might can come up with a tech sheet and you would get a better answer. see page 4

Usually a lever hidden right under the cooktop above the door that needs to be flipped to lock the door closed. then you set it to clean and let it go for hours.

Peace,

I have no users' manual and would like the basic instruction for the self-cleaning function

The only thing I can offer is this: Most electronics cannot recover from the extreme 900 degree temp of self clean cycle. It is therefore recommended not to use the self clean on newer models. Why not get some oven cleaner and do it the old fashioned way?
