Hello
You can buy them online with the laptop model number which is located under the laptop.
Or you can buy them from an authorized repair center for your brand ,ask for a quote first.

hope this helps.

You need to replace the hinges for the LCD screen. If you are a DIY person, you can simply use metal door hinges and modify them. Alternatively you can buy replacement laptop screen hinges but be sure to buy hinges that are compatible with your laptop.

Replacing laptop hinges

There are 2 set of cable that run from the display to the monitor, be very careful with it. In most cases, to remove these cables you need to disassemble the whole laptop. Now, since you are on Y changing the hinges, I think you can do it, just don't pull on the monitor too hard, and it needs to be place on a flat surface very close to the laptop. It's not that hard, you just need to be careful, that's all.

Break laptop two hinges

If you need to ask "how" to fix the hinges, you probably should STOP and take the computer to a qualified technician, for repairs. You might have to look on eBay to find a "dead" laptop with "good" hinges, and then the technician can "transplant" the hinges from one computer to another.

My screen on my dell laptop wont stay up its keep on falling

Your laptop hinges have lost their grip and need to be replaced. There isn't any way to repair them. Replacement hinges are available for many models. These days a good place to start looking for them is eBay. Search for "replacement hinges" for your specific model and you'll probably find several sellers. It's usually not too difficult to replace the hinges, although on some brands and models it's easier than on others. They are held to the laptop frame by screws.

Many sites have how-to information or videos about replacing the hinges. Look for new ones on eBay, check out the how-tos and you should be able to fix this yourself. Thanks for using Fixya!

Broken laptop screen HP Pavilion ZV6000

I have a HP Pavilion zv6000 laptop too, and I have the same problem. A year ago, the screen was getting loose and finally it just broke. Won't stand up. I've been propping it up against a wall for a year. I can see what is wrong: my laptop has gotten so hot that the back of the laptop where the hinges are has warped and ruined the hinges. Do you notice that? The split in the seem and the actual bend of the plastic? Anyway, the computer itself works perfectly. I was going to buy new hinges and replace them myself, but it was too much of a hassle, and I needed a new laptop anyway. The hinges are inexpensive. And the laptop isn't TOO difficult to take apart (search for the manual. it's easy to find). I took it apart with my Grandpa, and he's old, and I'm a girl. (okay, sexist, gender...ist.) I actually received a new laptop as a gift. Luckily. No solution, other than replacing hinges. I just wanted to let people know I too had the same problem.
