Question about RCA F32649 32" TV

3 Answers

No sound Several weeks ago, the sound stopped working on the lower numbered channels. Over the past few weeks, the sound has stopped working on all channels. The picture is perfect. The TV is hooked up to basic cable (no cable box). I've checked all the settings and everything looks in order. Could this be a cable problem? Thank you,

Re: No sound

This may sound funny, but I had a similar problem with my tv. I unplugged the TV from the wall for about 10 minutes, and after plugging it back in the sound was fine! good luck!

There are some software updates for some of these tv's for simular issues, but without a model i can't know for sure. Check the sony website, put your model number in and they can tell you if you need a software update. But it definatly sounds like a software issue.

Screen is messed up, getting worse

What your describing sounds like two differant problems OR the power supply is causing these two problems .. One would of course be the tuner and the other would be the vertical circuit .. Your going to need to seek out a profesional if you havent a clue about solid state electronicsand A tv is not a place to experiment! Good Luck
