Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: hi i have a GNR TS902W monitor it doesnt turn on

Hold down the left and right arrow buttons for 1 minute. The monitor should switch inputs and start behaving again. Mine did that although I never discovered what changed it in the first place.

GNR TS902 19 inch flat screen computer monitor with 3x4 aspect ratio
Difficult starting or completely dead:- (This is a 'Stock Fault' with these otherwise excellent monitors)

Check or replace the electrolytic capacitor C829 - type 1000MFD 16 Volt DC Wkg It sits on the PSU board next to an empty "C817" mounting point (which is for a device wired in parellel) so you can fit two smaller ones (of ~ 500MFD each) . . I suggest replacing it (C829) with a 1000MFD 25 VoltDC Wkg type.

Also (very much less frequently) capacitors C802 - 470MFD 50V VoltDC Wkg and C819 680 MFD 16 VoltDC Wkg are faulty.

How can i change the preset resolution of my gnr ts900 monitor.the resolution is set to640x480. this is insufficient for my new radeon hd5450 graphics card.

The video resolution setting is done AT THE MONITOR DISPLAY PROPERTIE SETUP, not at the monitor. The video card driver is up to date?
What OS are you running?
If you are running Windows 7, you need to find driver for this model.

OSD + GNR 19M1 LCD screen

Seems that you have set the resolution on your graphics card to a setting higher than the maximum resolution supported by your monitor.
Try to boot into Safe Mode & lower the resolution of your graphics card. If not possible, go to Device Manager & remove the graphics card from it, then reboot your computer. This will reset the resolution.
You can then re-install your graphics card drivers & get it to work properly.
