My T.V. will not turn on..The green blinks 5 times and the red 6 times

First thing to check is for a bad lamp! You can check this by taking small front panel off the tv.
This is the width of the tv right below the screen. But keep in mind you have to remove the screws on each side of side panel... Good luck and let me know if you need a lamp. I may have it in stock as well. HDTV GURU JAY.. email me back at zx1400jay@hotmail.com if you have any other questions.

I have a phillips big screen. The picture looked 3D, so my brother hit the factory reset button and now the colors are off set

Projection TV sets are known to have two common problems. The first problem that is common to these sets is convergence failure. When this happens the TV will usually look 3D, Wavy/Distorted, etc. It may also shutdown and blink an error code.

The second common problem with Projection TV sets is dull video, halos around objects, white looking video, or red overpowers the screen. This is commonly caused by the fluid in the lens being clouded over.

you have dust on your projector, you should be able to take the screws out around the screen, lean the screen away from the tv, and wipe dust off the projector
