SOURCE: Saeco Magic de luxe not grinding beans

Try setting the grind to the coarsest setting, if you still have the same problem, check the wire connections to the board, it might have been reversed.

SOURCE: Saeco Magic Deluxe resets itself before completing brew cycle

Hi Try reprogramming the machine. Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button. If that doesn't fix it, then you might need a new flow meter.

Beans grind and are wet but coffee doesn't come out... it goes through the cycle and spits out a little. When cycle is complete, the water light comes on, but after priming the same thing occurs.

This tells me that either the grind is too fine and or the brew unit screen, and discharge tube needs to be cleaned. Try this first press the button for making a espresso using the manual function, do not add coffee through the door then press the brew button. If water flows freely then the grind is too fine, if you get the water prime error then the screen under the red o-ring on the brew unit needs to be cleaned.

Saeco Incanto Rondo right red light is on and I cannot make coffee. The machine grinds the beans but does not dispense any coffee.

Try to set the machine to grind finer. Common problem with this machine when the grinder grinds too coarse, and the coffee will not fit in the brew unit during the cycle. Grinding finer will allow the brew unit to compress and the machine should complete the cycle.

If this does not work there may be another thing to try, Let me know support@cerinicoffee.com

Fault F 17 appears when in use. Starts grinding the beans but no coffee in the cup yet. What does F17 mean?

f 17 is no water flow. It usually occurs when the brew unit has not been cleaned regularly, when the coffee grind size is set too fine, or when oily beans are used. You can try to soak the brew unit in hot water for a while, and run water through it in the sink. Unfortunately, most cases require brew unit replacement. A properly cleaned and maintained brew unit should last the life of the machine.

DGB-550BK Filter basket won't stay shut when either brewing ground coffee or grinding beans.. With the ground; the basket pops open mid brew and makes a mess everywhere. When grinding beans, I've noticed...

Not a solution but...

Many folks have reported this, the latching mechanism wears out eventually.
We had the problem but discovered that the door on the basket wasn't getting completely closed. Now I make sure it's closed and haven't had any problem since.
Hope this solves your issue - if not, keep an eye on yard sales, we picked up two at different times for $5 and now have parts to swap out - not much help for a failed latch though.
Glad I never paid full price for it, even though it's a fairly good grinder/brewer.

I put beans in where the grinds should go. help!?

Hi
Open the door and remove the drip tray. Then remove the brew unit and empty the beans. Make sure that you get all the beans. Check the brew unit thoroughly. Then put everything back. Try the pre ground button but don't put anything in the brew unit then push the medium coffee button. That will run the machine through a brew cycle and if it works OK then you set to go.

Machine has major problem with grinding beans.

Try removing all beans from bean holder - then use a vacumn machine to remove the bits down amongst the grinder "teeth'. You may have had a small stone in your coffee and if so it may have jammed the grinder.

Once it looks clean, try making a cup of coffee without the beans in the hopper - you should be able to see and hear the grinder revolving and also hear the brew unit moving between the grinder outlet and the water inlet. If it all seems ok now, then add a small amount of beans back into the beans hopper and try making a coffee. If it still will not work, get it serviced. There's not much the average person can do inside these units other than to do more serious damage or kill themselves with an electric shock.

Coffee Beans do not grind

Try using the vacuum to clean out the grounds, then remove the brew unit and make sure the chamber from the grinder is clear.

Saeco Vienna grinds too much coffee.

Hi
If you have the Delux or Digital there are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the small knob back 1 mark and see if that will help.
