Question about Bosch Dishwashers

Dishwasher will not run, gives a message "E-24"

The Bosch Dishwasher is only a month old. The manual says that most of these fault messages can be fixed without a service call but the manual does not say what the messages mean or how to fix them.

  • Robert Williams Feb 12, 2012

Water will not drain from bottom of dishwasher. I sponged the water out and cleaned the filter. The manual said to remove the waste water pump cover and check for objects. There was nothing there. I tried it again -- still the "E:24" message. I called Bosch Customer Service and, of course, no one is available to answer my questions on the weekend.

Bosch Logixx won't start - Stuck on "Close the door" even though door is closed.

Open the door, look along the top stainless on the door and you should find the ENr number (model number) etched into the stainless, may need to give it a wipe and look at an angle to read it. Post the ENr and that should help with diagnosis.

Its out of work and shows E:15

This error message is normally an indication that there has been an overspill of water in to the base and triggered the antiflood mechanism.
Try tilting the dishwasher back to allow excess water to run out and then retry the wash cycle. If it still gives the E15 code then there is a leak on the system.

My brand new Kenmore Elite Stainless steel 24" always displays 'Oversudsing'

Even though the dishwasher comes with detergent, doesn't mean its good. A lot of new dishwashers are very sensitive to soaps. I've found that cascade liquid works the best. Try getting Dishwasher magic and run it through a load with no dishes. Follow the directions on the bottle. You can pick some up at lowes or home depot.

I have a KitchenAid model KUDP01FLBT6 dishwasher. When hitting the "Normal" button and the "Start" button, the dishwasher would run for less than 5 minutes and then shut off. Dishes...

what makes you think it was in a demo mode ?? was it a floor demo model ? as if it was there might be a few things you needed to reconnect before you use it in your home , one that comes to mind is the float level switch , this is usually in front right corner and demo models usually have a foam spacer under there edge , also its possible a demo model could have a special control board in them , requiring you to replace it with a standard model b4 it would work properly

The dishwasher runs on both the "regular" and

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. Your dishwasher is suffering from the same thing thousands of Bosch built machines have suffered from. I'm presently on my iphone so I can't post my normal solution to this, but I can share the address which will take you there if you copy&paste the address below. Although it refers to a "SHU66" series, all the same info pertains to yours. Good luck, let me know if I can help further. Regards, Macmarkus :) http://www.fixya.com/support/t7445895-turn_off_dw

HO message flashing

My service guy told me this was due to the water coming into the dishwasher not being hot enough. He suggested I run the hot water in my kitchen sink prior to running the dishwasher. That seemed to resolve my issue.
