Question about ViewSonic VX2235wm LCD Monitor
A g@@gle search turned up a number of sources, however, you may need to only replace any stressed electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board. That's what I did to fix my same monitor - less than $5 in parts from ACME supply out of Orlando.

You don't have to replace the unit. You can repair it yourself.
The Viewsonic VX2235WM has a known issue with the power supply going out. The flashing power light or not turning on is the classic symptoms of this issue. Check out our web site at: www.ccl-la.com. We have a step by step repair guide posted that will guide to doing the repair yourself. It involves changing a few capacitors on the power supply. If you can solder then you should be able to do the repair yourself. If you don't want to do the repair we do offer a repair service for $35 plus return shipping. If you have any additional questions just let us know at: email@example.com
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
