I beleived taht you recieved this error message on your computer when scanning or printing., Right? For this case you need to call kodak toll free at 1 800 421 6699 since the software and the driver of your printer is having a problem. They will guide how to unistall properly your software and reinstall it., this issue is more on the software not on the printer
Try this one, Turn on the printer, Take out the inks, remove the printhead, put back the printhead make sure it will snap and you hear a click, put the inks back, wait for the printer to initialize, Press the Menu button, look for Calibrate printer, then print calibration page, then scan it after. Load a regular paper. Then try to print a demo page by pressing Photo and Copy at the same for 5 seconds then let it go. Instead of pressing the start button to print, you need to press the small ON/OFF button. The start button works to copy/scan. But to print, you will need to turn the printer on first. Once the printer is on, the computer should recognize it fine and allow you to print from your applications.
check first the type of paper that you are using if it is compatible in your printer if you are connected online, try first to update your firmware, you can do that by downloading it in kodak website www.kodak.com/go/drivers, the latest version is 71.650837, then install it in your computer. after the upgrade restart your printer, then try to calibrate then deep clean of your printhead then print demo page. if it still producing the same result or problem.
My Scanner (Barely used, not even through the first set of ink cartridges yet) was working beatifully. Then all of the sudden the same thing happened to mine...blinking lights...Power light flashing Yellow...I contacted Kodak and they had me do the same old thing...Unplug, uninstall, reinstall, restart. Nothing works...They also try and have you redownload firmware (But Hello....You cant if the printer isnt ON!) So I went back to them again to say none of it worked. They said its the print head and they are sending me another one. Ive read a lot of terrible reviews of this printer just because of the crappy print head...You would think they could fix that by now, or have 5 extras in the package when you buy it.
