You have three choices, 1. send it to get disc out, 2. take apart yourself or 3. keep pressing eject button till comes out, ( try laying it flat, on side and upside down).

What To Do:

If you are experiencing this problem while attempting to play a Nintendo GameCube Game Disc, check the model number on your Wii console. Only Wii consoles with model number RVL-001 are compatible with Nintendo GameCube Game Discs. (learn more)

Why does my wii Error? I'm currently playing Donkey Kong Country Returns and half way through a level I have an error asking me to eject the disc and switch off the console, it's so fustrating. I am using...

Check the bottom of the Game Disc (the side without any labels or writing) for any dirt or damage (such as cracks, scratches, etc.).

    • If the game looks significantly damaged, such as with scratches or cracks, it will need to be replaced.

    • If the game looks dirty (fingerprints, smudges), try cleaning the Game Disc. If the problem persists, the Game Disc will need to be replaced.

If you are still seeing the "Error has Occurred" message, it appears there is a problem with your Wii console and the system will need to be repaired.
