Question about Televison & Video
Trying to manually update firmware, need to find out how to put unit into "boot"

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had a problem getting mine to boot but got it working by removing battery and removing AC, then pressing power button. Then plugged in AC and pressed power again. It boots. Then replace battery and cover.
As far as manuals, the official site is below. I'd download a new firmware upgrade and install is from another computer. Sometimes the computer downloading and running an install is
compromised and the virus scanner is not aware downloads are getting damaged upon arrival to your local hard drive.

I found it by clicking on the link to the chinese language firmware. That gave me the directory and I just browsed around till I found it.
This didn't solve my problem of a black and white display but I hope it helps you.
