Question about AT&T Blackberry Curve 8300 Smartphone
Hello I have a Blackberry 8300 and it wont turn on . The red light blinks and it takes a charge but it wont turn on at all even when I take the battery out and replace it and press the power button . Could you please help me to fix my problem ?
Thank you Thank you Thank you a millon thanks, it worked and here i thought i wasted 350.00 for a piece of ____. I can not thank you enough as a mother of four I have pictures on this micro card of my kids and i couldn't pull them up on the computer cus vista was reading them REM. But this worked and I can see my kids unreplacable pics. again thank you. You have helpped many a person along with the many other posts about this and I'm sure it means a lot to them too. It sounds as though there is either a problem with the operating system, or the hardware is damaged.
You can first try to wipe the BlackBerry using the steps in the links below:

(Try this one if the first doesn't work): http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/What_to_do_next_if_Jl_Cmder_will_not_connect_and_wipe
If that doesn't work then you may need to have the device serviced, or try another battery.
