Hi looking for a manual for a boss ba-1000 car amp

You can contact boss electronics or the amp retail store.. Most boss amps are sold at flea markets so they may not have direct access to the Manufacture. look at your amp and see if there is an 800 on it if not contact the place you bouht it for a phone #

Boss BA-2900 car amp doesnt produce any sound

i have come across a similar problem before. if you are using the ceramic (glass, clear) fuses the solder in the end caps sometimes melts. you will not see the fuse blown, but the fuse may still be bad. try a new fuse to see if that works. also make sure no single stray strands of wire from a positive or negative wire are touching on the terminals on the amp. i hope this helps. ill keep thinking of other things in the meantime

Wiring up amp/installing amp

Disconnect all the wires and make sure that their all connected to the right terminals. If not positively sure trace all wires back to source. If you ground and power is swapped it will automatically go over to protection mode.
