Try unplugging your printer from the wall outlet and leaving it that way for ~30min. If this does no help then it means that a fuse has burnt out somwhere in the device. Sadly there is no manual on how to disasemble a F4140, plus it would void your waranty. I suggest you try to return it under waranty, just don't say you don't know why it stopped working ;]
Try unplugging your printer, and plugging it back on. Then open the cover to remove the catridge in the normal procedure.
If this fails then it means something has just blocked the way for your catridge to rail back into place, check if anything is out of place (compared with the norm you used to see).
please hold down power button for 20 seconds so that hp printer shuts down and reboot again and try and see what happens
good luck with it if that doesnt work go to device manager then remove the printer and remove all printer software and then unplug printer reboot computer then you plug in printer then let the windows software load all drivers they will work fine once you install the new software go to windows update website then look for updates for new hardware items you are good to go reboot and happy printing
Power off the printer. Unplug the
printer's USB cable for 5 seconds replug turn on the printer.
If that fails power off the PC and printer unplug the USB cable at
the PC and printer replug and power back on the PC. After PC is
fully booted turn the printer back on. If this keeps
reoccurring please replace the USB cable and or try different USB
Turn it off. Unplug the power cord from the printer & usb wait a minute. Plug USB in & than the power cable & turn it on. Next
Open the Printers folder. Right-click the icon of the printer in use, and then click Open . Click Printer on the menu, and then ensure that there are no checkmarks next to Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline . If a checkmark is present on either, click the menu option to remove it. If the menu shows Use Printer Online , click that option.
