How do i set my mms settings on my lg k3970 shine? currently i cannot recieve or send picture messages or go online...i have already got the apn, ip and msg url...just dont know how to enter it into my phone thanx

    i have already said that i have contacted my carrier and have mms settings, what i want to know is how to get my phone to send and receive pics....my carrier does not know how to do this because they do not supply the phone i have...i have an ulocked phone that works on their network thats all....are you familiar with the settings on the lg shine...even though i have saved the mms settings i still cannot send or receive pics.

Contact your carrier - they will send you the required file. Then you just need to select save to phone or something similar to activate it

    On the phone, under multimedia msg. centre, you can enter the urls once you select new profile under options

Cant recieve pictures


Your phone cannot receive picture messages or MMS if the GPRS setting is not configured properly. Call your network service provider and ask for the settings. They will send it to you and give you instructions and information in the use of the MMS service. Usually there is a load requirement in receiving and sending MMS if you are using a prepaid sim.

I can't recieve or send picture message on my rogers lg shine unlock phone.


i got a unlocked phone lg shine with rogers to.just got it fixed through att.if you have att then ill tell you how to fix.you must type in exactly how i do if its a capital put it in and do it in the order i put down.
go to menu/settings/connection/network profile.
hit new
connection title:

exit out to menu
go to internet
settings/browser settings/accounts
hit option button

I can't go online, can't recieve picture messages with lg ke990


Hi.. seems to me that you have not recieved the settings for GPRS and MMS. please check with your provider to send you the settings.. once you recieve them activate them.

Maybe internet is shut off on your phone?

try this menu then settings then connectivity then network then access point then new access point then fill in it is case sensitive so do it exact name: MEdia Net
bearer setting: gprs APN: wap.cingular user id: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM Password: CINGULAR1 Primary server: 066.209.011.061 Secondary 000.000.000.000
then save it

then go back to menu then internet then settings then network profiles then new profile then fill in name: MEdia Net homepage: device.home proxy: on ip address: 066.209.011.061 port number: 9201 access point MEdia Net then save then options then activate

then menu then messaging then settings then multimedia then network profiles name:MMS homepage mmsc.cingular.com proxy: on ip address:066.209.011.061
port number: 9201 access point MEdia Net then save then activate you may have to highlight mms to activate .

i used this for mine. it works alright for recieving and sending. but im still having trouble recieving from black berries.
go to menu

then press ok.
