Horacio your refrigerator has two sides on water dispenser. It's possible the side for the water dispenser is defective. First you will need your refrigerators model number. The place to locate the model number is=> Side By Side, Top Freezer and Bottom Freezer You can buy your parts where ever is best for you but I will use this is an example. Once you locate the model number click here=> Point and Click Appliance Repair Once that page opens you will see four choices of simular model numbers. Just choose one as the parts are the same for the PSS26. Here is a photo of the back=> Sealed System or Motherboard

You see the part listed as number 800? That is a=> WR57X10051 Dual Water Control Valve for the PSS26MSRSS refrigerator. You can also test the water control valve by using an OHM meter to check resistance you should get a reading of 150 to 300 OHM's if the coil is good. Sometimes checking the OHM's will not work because there may be something mechanical wrong with water control valve. Either way I will be here to answer any questions you may have, Thanks Sea Breeze

its possible that your water tank has frozen up, try turning the refrig off and leave the doors open for about 10-15 mins and try it again. if that works just reset temp controls a little lower..

What you describe was a common problem with this model and one that still pops up. Your refrig *might* qualify for an upgrade under terms of a program GE initiated a few years ago. Call 800-432-2737 first it might save you a service call

SOURCE: water dispenser on front of refrigerator door does not dispense water. Ice Cube maker continues to make ice cubes. Defrosting doesn't fix problem.

Water dispensing solenoid is bad. You need to replace the solenoid valve. This typically is independent of the ice maker.

SOURCE: No water from door dispenser

This is most times caused by a defective dual water control valve on the back near floor of the refrigerator. Unplug the two wire connections and check both coils with an ohm meter. The both should read the same amount of resistance. Or set your meter on voltage and place the probes in each side of the plug and have someone press the dispense button. You should show the household voltage at the end of that plug. Sea Breeze

No dispensing water...GE refrigerator

There may be an interlock switch on the housing where the filter or dummy stopper is inserted. If this interlock is not satisfied, then the water dispenser won't turn on. This would prevent water from spraying all over the inside of the refrigerator if the filter is not seated properly. Check to make sure the filter or plug is inserted properly.

There's an ice- or water-dispensing problem The ice and water-dispensing system of your refrigerator is quite complex. Many components work together to provide the ice and water. Aside from a simple problem of a leaky water tube or a jammed ice chute, most other components are not user serviceable. We suggest that you contact a qualified appliance repair technician for such repairs.

Water not coming from gss25lgmb bb

I have a GSH25JSRFSS GE refrigerator. Twice, the water line has frozen near the dispenser. Each time I used a hairdryer to heat either the side of the door where the water line runs and blew hot air up the dispenser. This last time, I took the plastic cover off the outside of the door (it clips on) and blew hot air into the small holes in the door that the outside grate clips into. This allows the hot air to get inside the door, and I heard ice from the frozen line drop. Subsequently, the water line worked. Two points: I did have water running to the line in the bottom of the refrigerator, so I knew it was an ice clog, and secondly, I took care not to blow hot air on the exposed wires inside the door.GKAZ

Water does not dispense

there should be a water line that runs from the reservior that is in the fridge compartment under the appliance to a connector at the bottom of the freezer door, if water is getting to there then the water line within the freezer door is frozen . If water is not getting there then the reservior may be frozen or the watervalve may be faulty

Ice and Water not dispensing. Light button not working

INSIDE THE DISPENSER ASSEMBLY IS A SEPARATE ELECTRONIC BOARD THAT CONTROLS THE DISPENSER.
OCCASIONALLY, THE DOOR SOLENOID OR THE CUBE ICE SOLENOID WILL SHORT OUT CAUSING A BURNOUT OF THE DISPENSER CONTROL BOARD. CHECK FOR A BURNT SMELL COMING FROM THE DISPENSER HOUSING. IF YOU SMELL IT, THE BOARD AND/OR SOLENOID NEED TO BE REPLACED.
